Okay so i had songs on my itunes, then my computer just got cleaned up and it restored merely the old songs i had on itunes, so now i have newer songs on my ipod that aren’t on my itunes, how do i restore them back on my computer without them getting deleted.

I am about to leave the country and I would like to take my iPhone with me. The hotel has wifi, so I would be willing and able to get my email, check travel guides, etc. But, it is a company owned phone and I don’t want to accidentally use the phone to connect instead of the wifi. Is there a way that I can shut off the phone connectivity? Also, how do I shut off the phone on the plane?
