My family and I are doing well. The college funds are some set for the boys, we have ZERO debt outside of the mortgage. Our home is a duplex and the tenet is paying the complete mortgage every month, and then some. I made the best investment choice for that piece of property.
So my husband asked me how I would invest the money. He is good with money when it comes to real estate, but I relish real estate, stocks and futures. We are wanting to invest the money for at least 10 years. I do not dare play the volatile short term market at this time.
Thank you for your time and advice.

Buying property in Ghana?
I’m 21, live in Vienna, Austria and my boyfriend is from Ghana. We’ve spend last christmas there and I think the country is wonderful and it might be the best idea to invest there. I study tourism industrie and hotel management and I could see myself living in Ghana and running a small hotel there. I’ve visited Cape shore and I really liked the place. Property prices a still low, 4000-6000 $ can buy you a kind parcel close to the beach and I’m wondering if I should invest my savings and buy a piece of land there. Has anybody done something like that and what would be your advice?

Is there some way to invest in the stock market while guaranteeing profit?
I’ve been thinking that since i’m a bit low on cash, i might also try the stock market. I just don’t want to lose some my money. So i was just investigating a trick or something that could guarantee a bit of cash in a short amount of time. some other advice regarding the market is also welcome.

What's the best way to invest my money if I never want to touch the principle, and just live off the interest?
I know you get more interest if you invest in something where you may’t touch the money for very long periods of time, but the interest is paid into a checking account or something. If I never wanted to touch the money I invested, and just wanted to spend the interest earned, what should I invest in? Mutual funds? Index funds?

Commodities experts expect ethanol mandates to double the price of corn. Is it worth it?
This may also dramatically affect the price of meat, as a significant proportion of livestock in this country is corn-fed.
KevinStud, good answer. I agree wholeheartedly that we need to look to the free market for the answer to this 1. But we don’t have to rely on the "experts" to forecast the price of corn. It’s skyrocketing already.Trolling, I would agree with that analysis if using ethanol did, in fact, allow us to ignore the middle east. But those dictators may still control a valuable commodity and wield the power to purchase more and more powerful weapons with his wealth. Can’t ignore them with or without ethanol.
Newbie, good question. But what if farmers increase production to meet the demand and then the subsidies are deemed ineffective and discontinued? Or (perhaps worse), what if they are deemed ineffective and the government continues to subsidize the corn production anyway to avoid alienating the agri-business lobby?

As a kid, how and what should I invest in to amass a greater fortune?
Hi, I’m an 11 year old and I’m thinking ahead of the game plan and I got to thinking: what opportunity should I jump on to invest in and make money off of it? I am thinking to invest in stock but from what I’ve learned, it is a very risky game so I would like a better understanding of what I should take full advantage of to invest in and watch as my money grows. Can someone please give me some suggestions on what I should invest in and what I should be looking out for? Thank you an unbelievable.
