Do you people even know what it entails? or are you just passified by the ambiguity of "healthcare for everyone". anyone who actually knows what this thing would price us, also as the other "catches" couldnt possibly support it.

Do the people who are for the healthcare bill actually know what it is, or are they just following obama?

No. They have looked at the situation rationally rather than respond to to the emotive propanganda being propagated by the right. They see the claims of euthanasia for exactly the outright lies they are.
They see millions of uninsured Americans without even the most basic cover. They see the words of John McCain in the election campaign. He may consider cover for cancer and transplants to be "gold plated" but _you_ most certainly will not if those treatments are what _you_ need. He apparently believes the "right" to choose sunstandard healthcare simply because that is all you can afford is more important than the real right to receive the healthcare you need.
They see the European healthcare systems where everyone has comprhensive "gold plated" healthcare cover regardless of how rich or poor they are. They see that the cost of those systems is anywhere between two-thirds and half that of our own system despite the fact everyone in the country is covered rather than merely those that can afford to pay.

Obamacare is about government control, has nothing to do with health care. Obama has stated that he wants a single payer system and this is just the first step to achieving that end.
Obamacare is part of a much bigger plan for reparations for slavery that Obama wants to push through.

Obama’s success depends on BLIND faith. If these people knew what was in the bill, they would have to be complete fools to support it.

Do the people who are against it actually know what it is or do they just claim to have read it and then make completely false statements?

The problem is people aren’t reading the bill – only the snippet Fox or Rush gave them, which is of course rendered meaningless by the lack of context.

We know what it is. We have been studying and researching this for at least 20 years. We would rather have single payer, though. In case you have inaccurate info, you might want to read this:

Few have any idea of what in it granted it’s long and dry reading at best but having the government running anything is not the way . A start would be capping punitive damages on medical malpractice This would save billions and yet it’s not even in the bill and BHO said no to it to protect the Lawyers .Reform yes let’s try it out on one State an see how it works? no one wants that either .Why ?when I asked my Rep’s a form letter that did not even touch the issues just fluffed over it What are they hidding not to try it out first?

They voted for the fool with out looking at the truth, they are doing the same thing now ! Like a bunch of high school kids trying to be cool. To lazy to read or think for themselves so they follow !

I would say most of them don’t know what is in it and I admit I only know parts of it. It is actually written so that even if you read it you still won’t know what most of it means.
The main reason to vote against this bill is because it is really not about healthcare, it is about getting americans totally tied up with the government so that they have total control. They don’t care about you as a people, just as a vote and when they no longer need votes they just like the power.
jehen 9:48 am on December 26, 2009 Permalink |
Not everything. But I have read summaries I trust. I can tell you what is not in it:
Death Panels
Government run health care
an end to private or employer paid insurance

We know what it entails. I personally am not 100% for it the way it is now. It is a good starting point and in the right direction. If both sides can work toward it, instead of just saying nothing is wrong with the system as it is now, it can work. Instead of fighting, lets work together and get some type of compromise, we can make it work.

I doubt many people have acually read the bill in it’s entirety. It took me 4 days to read it.We are ALL following blindly if we let them pass it without reading it.

They are sheep still hypnotized by the charismatic charm of Obama. AND they want socialized health care, not knowing or caring what specifically it entails.

Remember, for the most part this won’t cost the liberals a thing, they do not today and never have had a problem spending other peoples money.
Amber Rose 9:48 am on December 26, 2009 Permalink |
No the people that are for it have no idea what it entails. With a National Health Care System your taxes are going to go up to pay for this 80 billion dollar system. Obama says you can keep the care you have if you work for a big corporation and are happy with it. I have news for everyone, these companies are going to discontinue having an insurance plan where you work. It will cost them a fine of $750 a person a year not to have coverage and let everyone go into National Care which is going to save the big corporations lots of money on health care. Not so good for the US national deficit and for Americans being taxed to death already.

They are just trusting the people in our government that haven’t read the bill….oh and put us in dept…and, well you get it.
Please wake up America!

Funny how no one on YA talked about health reform till Obama spoted BS.. then they found something obviously wrong with our current health care.
Why didn’t they care a year ago? Now all of a sudden they do? Hypocrite much?

FIRST OF ALL, THERE WILL BE NO NATIONALIZATION OF HEALTH CARE!
[There is NO "OBAMA CARE" THE PLAN[S] ARE BEING BUILT BY CONGRESS]
THE ONLY THING THE GOVERNMENT WANTS TO DO IS ADD AN OPTION FOR NON-PROFIT INSURANCE FOR THE POOR & UNEMPLOYED.
[I go to the Dallas VA Medical Center and the government doesn’t even run THAT!]
OK, SO HOW WILL THEY PAY FOR IT?
>DRUG DISCOUNTS
>CONCENTRATING ON PREVENTATIVE CARE
[Currently, the poor only have the E.R. at county hospitals and that’s THE MOST EXPENSIVE CARE THERE IS!]
>ELIMINATING WASTE &
>LOCKING UP PEOPLE WHO COMMIT FRAUD!
Want to know WHO DOESN’T WANT ANY CHANGE?
THE INSURANCE COMPANIES!
THEY EAT 40% OF EVERY HEALTH CARE DOLLAR.
FOR WHAT WE ARE CURRENTLY PAYING, WE COULD INSURE EVERY MAN, WOMAN & CHILD IN AMERICA WITH ZERO DEDUCTIBLE, ZERO COPAY COVERAGE!
