okay, lets say you have a son or daughter. You got him/his a cell phone as part of a phone deal. Your son/daughter goes irresponsible and makes a call to Japan. may the cell company call to inform you of such an pricey call? I mean you’d like to know to inform them not to do that and to keep them from making some other future long distance pricey calls. Or may they simply wait leaving you blind of your child’s recklessness till the bill comes in?
and since they claim it’s your "responsibility" you cannot dispute the charges

Does a cell phone company inform you of expensive ,long-distance calls?

They won’t inform you. The plan holder is responsible for calls made. Talk to the son/daughter & tell them not to make long distance calls. It’s up to you!!!!!
