What happens is that if you file direct deposit thru H&R block they assign a personal acct number to direct deposit to your account, may the feds know of this and still direct deposit to my accout or may they mail out paper check which takes longer.

The rebate check will be mailed to you. The IRS will not route it through H&R Block.

You will get it deposited in to your bank account. It doesn’t take long either!
Let me suggest that you find a local tax preparer next time. I used HRBlock and was charged 100.00 for a simple tax return. This year I went to a college educated financial tax preparer and for the same thing I paid 45.00
HR Block overcharges and their people are only given a couple weeks training!

If you’re talking about the stimulus payment, you’ll get a paper check, it won’t go through Block. Direct deposit through Block is only so they can collect what’s due to them for your tax prep fees or for an RAL if you took one – with the stimulus, nothing is due to Block.
