is good US economy good for others in the world?

I am not sure. We tend to become arrogant as a nation when economy booms. The lobbyist takes the control and we do not seem to care. these criminal lobby group like AIPAC throw us into wars, killing of millions. on the top of that we elected an idiot bush for the white house without giving a second thought…

I don’t think that’s so much a function of the economy. A good economy also means a lot of people are trading, and more aware of the global situation as a whole.
The thing is, the US economy is a huge part of the world economy, and affects almost every other economy. So, a good US economy is important for the world economic health. But, so is a good Japanese economy, a good European economy, a good Chinese economy, etc. etc. etc.
I don’t think Bush was elected because we had a good economy. Such as it was. And he probably would have been an adequate president if 9/11 hadn’t given him an excuse to go all Teddy Roosevelt on us. (And he just didn’t have the same kind of luck the first Roosevelt had — or the skills, or the brains. Oh well.)
