As someone who files on behalf of people, I recommend that if your filing is simple, do it yourself. If you are self employed or own a small business, then definitely get and accountant to work with you.

if u filed online the past 3 years and had no problems why get a accountant now and then u don’t have much time to find a good one.simple and plain if it ain’t broke do not try and fix it.do what u been doing and u should be just fine.

Unless your financial situation has become complicated and you’ve successfully filed your taxes online before, then continue to file them online now. Also, getting an appointment with an accountant at this point could prove to be a challenge.
