I would keep checking orbitz and priceline- they can change a lot.
At least out of florida there are inexpensive flights if you are willing to go 7 am.

You can also save by parking your car near the airport and get shuttled over rather than parking at the airport at times. It also may save on traffic time if you live closer to the park facility:

day or night doesn’t matter at all. New rates are put out on tuesdays. so if you see a good rate buy it before tuesdays….kayak.com is a great site for airfare

I’ve read that Tuesday at midnight is when the airlines start posting reduced fares for the rest of the week and weekend. I’ve never tried it myself, but it’s worth a look. But you need to go to the individual airlines’ websites to find them.

Set up an ongoing search. Most of the websites allow this. Then, let the computer do the work for you. It will notify you when the rates go down, or get to a certain level, or whatever you tell it to do.
