I have Straight Talk unlimited (talk, texting and web) for $45 a month and I think it’s the best deal seeing that there are no roaming charges and you don’t pay extra for 411 calls. And the coverage is good because it runs on the Verizon network.
It depend on what you want to do with your phone.(text,im,surve the web, or just talk.) I have US Celluar plan, which includes 1000 min.,unlimited call me min. , 250 text mgs to send for $55/month. But if you want more feature go with t-mobile.
T-Mobile has a prepaid phone plan. You buy a $100 card and a phone usually for normal price (you don’t get a discount on the phone like most plans, but in the long run it’s still cheaper) which gives you 1,000 minutes a year. No contracts or bills. It’s straight up pre-paid =]

it all depends on your specific needs,
but they are fiercely competitive. all the plans between companies are nearly identical.
you may pay just a bit more for Cingular/ATT or Verizon, but, they do have the best coverage (depending on where you are)
