Fallacy: "Why is [sic] good for obama to suffer a political defeat on his healthcare?"
Circular reasoning. The proposition to be proved is assumed implicitly or explicitly in the premise.
"Is a big defeat for him politically the only way to save America?"
Save America from what exactly? I never heard that a mere piece of health care legislation ever posing a clearn and imminent danger to the well-being of the general public. (Heck, the whole purpose behind health care legislation is to improve upon public health.) No amount of hyperbole is enough to divert attention away from the silliness of the original assertion.

We need medical costs to keep increasing along with insurance premiums so that only rich people will be able to afford medical care, and all of us poor folks will be dead. I guess you would call that good?

To save America from what?
I’ll be checking back for your answer to this. Although, I know, that I will not receive an answer because you don’t have one.

Nope because he has a filibuster proof majority in power and he still can’t get health care passed thereby making him look like the incompetent moron that he is.

It isn’t. But boy if he did are some of you folk gonna be in for a shock with your health care premiums in a couple of years.

It isn’t a good thing. The public option has been torn down and cons are cheering?
Oh, the dread.

Not a chance of that happening. President Obama’s success is America’s only hope.

When 60% of Americans do not want his plan to destroy our Health Care and he does not listen to the people then he needs to suffer defeat.
